Through diverse exhibitions and programming that includes artist talks and workshops, along with engaging artwork displayed throughout our campuses, the Curatorial Team for the Visual Arts elevates the student experience. By not only promoting interdisciplinary learning, inspiring creativity and fostering a deeper and more inclusive understanding of the world, we also offer students unique opportunities to work directly with works of art from our collections, take part in the curation process and assist in the daily operation of our campus galleries. The Curatorial Team is responsible for the American Museum of Asmat Art and its collection, the University Art Collection, the John P. Monahan Gallery, and the Department of Art History Gallery, along with the Voorsanger Architects Archive. From the acquisitions of new artworks and curation of future exhibition to special projects that include documentary film projects by leading professionals in the field, your support assists in bolstering the many projects related to American Museum of Asmat Art and its collection, the John P. Monahan Gallery, and the University Art Collection.
