Gifts to Society of Women Engineers contribute to...
SWE provides a common meeting ground for people interested in engineering, promoting the application for and understanding of engineering. SWE hopes to expand the image of the engineering profession, and inspire women to achieve their full potential engineering careers.
We are seeking to fundraise money to send more of our members to the SWE Conference, which is an annual conference that seeks to empower women to achieve their full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expand the image of the engineering and technology professions as a positive force in improving the quality of life, and demonstrate the value of diversity and inclusion. We are seeking funding for this event because travel costs are very expensive, upwards of $9000, and we do not want this to prevent our members from taking advantage of this amazing opportunity. Being able to attend the SWE Conference will create more career and networking opportunities for our members and allow them to confidently enter into the workforce. This will help inspire the next generation of girls to join the STEM field and create a more diverse community of engineers. Thank you for your support!

"I have attended one National SWE conference, which has had immense impact on me and my future career. Attending this conference with St. Thomas SWE has allowed me the opportunity to network with elite companies, meet new engineers, expanded my knowledge on engineering, and improve my technical and social skills."
