Gifts to School of Education and Human Development contribute to...
The School of Education and Human Development is deeply rooted in the rich history of the University of Southern Maine, which originated in 1878 as the Gorham Normal School for the preparation of teachers with a strong foundation in the norms of pedagogy and curriculum. Today, the School continues and extends this tradition by offering over 30 undergraduate and graduate programs to prepare highly qualified teachers, educational leaders, and mental and behavioral health professionals.
Through the generosity of donors like you, the School of Education and Human Development (SEHD) awards scholarships to 50-75 students per year from more than 40 scholarship funds. This GivingTuesday, consider a donation to the School of Education and Human Development, and invest in the learning and development of future generations of Mainers.
