USM Men's Soccer

Men's soccer new Head Coach Jim Hopkins is excited to build on our most recent success of going to the playoffs for the first time since 2018 and they would welcome community and alumni support! The men's soccer program is looking to rekindle old relationships and also foster new ones in the years to come and we need help financially to reach our goals.

Goals for the 23-24 season have been reached on and off the field with a trip to the Little East quarterfinals this fall. We brought back 35 alumni and friends to Hannaford field for our alumni game and Homecoming weekend. We now need to keep reaching for further goals for the program to be successful

2024 Goals
1. Raise money so team can do a week trip to Europe for preseason
2. Raise money for practice time in our nontraditional spring season
3. Start our first residential overnight youth soccer camp which will be held at USM Gorham and run in late June/early July
4. Pay for a second assistant coach to assist with our player development
5. Give back to the local community by sponsoring community events and pro bono youth soccer clinics and camps.
