Women's Lacrosse

University of Southern Maine Women’s Lacrosse is excited to take part in this year's GivingTuesday on November 29th, 2022. Please take a moment to watch the video and hear from our student athletes on the impact of athletics, fundraising, and lacrosse on their overall experience as a Husky.

As part of GivingTuesday, we invite all of our friends, family, and fans to consider giving a gift of any amount to contribute directly to our program. These funds help improve our student athlete experiences in so many ways. Our largest fundraising effort is to begin fundraising for Spring Break and Team Building travel for next season. Since the pandemic, we have not been able to travel for Spring Break since 2019. We were fortunate to do a short trip this fall which focused on team building and even in a small amount of time, the benefits of team overnight travel showed immediately in our fall season.

In addition to team travel, we hope to raise funds for more leadership programming as well as practice gear and equipment each year. We have been fortunate to do leadership programming on our own, and we hope to further explore these concepts by bringing in outside resources and speakers.
