Women's Basketball

The University of Southern Maine women’s basketball team is looking to raise funds for the overall operation of our program this season with a goal of engaging as many alumnae as possible during the Day of Giving event. Some of our specific fundraising goals for this year include:

• Off-setting travel cost for our team trip to Las Vegas for the 2022 D3Hoops.com Christmas Tournament
• Holding various team bonding events such hosting team dinners, spending a night out together at a Maine Celtics game, or testing our teamwork at an Escape Room
• Enhancing our mental health and performance by connecting with Lani Silversides for a mental skills/wellbeing workshop series

Our mission is to run a first-class program that reflects the great character and work ethic of each of the members of our basketball family. We strive for our student-athletes to reach the following:

• Be prepared to perform at top levels on and off the court.
• Be driven to succeed in all subjects, embracing all academic and social challenges.
• Develop a personal commitment to serve as a positive leader in the 21st century.
