Frank is a prison warden on a mission to arrest Eisenstein and mistakenly carts Alfred off to jail instead. Later he becomes friends with Eisenstein while both are dressed as Frenchmen at the ball. There he becomes smitten with a disguised Adele and her sister Sally.
