WMPG is officially 50 years old! Back in 1973, university officials recognized the importance of college radio and helped make WMPG a legal station. Your donations have helped keep us on the air.
Over the past half-century, WMPG has been a beacon of community, culture, and creativity in Portland and beyond. As we celebrate this remarkable achievement, we invite you to join us in commemorating the rich history, remarkable people, and incredible music that have graced our airwaves, and we urge you to continue to support the station so it may endure for another 50 years.
