The Special Jesuit Liberal Arts Honors Program (SJLA), one of Scranton's programs of excellence, is available each year to many of our most qualified first-year students. Those who are invited to join SJLA fulfill general education credits in a community atmosphere that encourages excellence and service to others.
Students develop enhanced writing, oral, and critical-thinking skills through specially designed courses in philosophy, theology, and literature.
