The first cohort of Opening Doors Scholars will be graduating in May. This scholarship has provided funding to students from the Cristo Rey network of Jesuit high schools, Arrupe College, and other institutions with a similar mission that support students with limited economic resources. The fund assists students with any unmet financial needs after all other sources of financial aid and scholarship have been determined, allowing them a fully-funded Scranton education. There are currently 18 University of Scranton students that are alumni of the Cristo Rey network.
