The Rev. Bernard R. McIlhenny, S.J., who recently celebrated his 100th birthday, has selflessly served The University of Scranton for the past 60 years with his faith, friendship, and unwavering presence. An incredible 31 of those years were dedicated to his work in the University’s Admissions Office, guiding generations of Royals and helping shape the Scranton community we know today.
His scholarship continues that legacy by providing critical support to students who demonstrate financial need, helping them thrive, just as he has helped so many before them.
