Nine years ago, Dr. DeMichele established the Michael D. DeMichele, Ph.D. '63 Scholarship in honor of history and political science faculty members at Scranton.
Thanks to the generosity of his former students, colleagues, family, and friends, gifts to the DeMichele Scholarship now total more than $1,000,000, making a remarkable difference for history, political science, and international studies students!
Dr. DeMichele had an unforgettable impact on his students during his 50-year teaching career at Scranton. Through this scholarship, his legacy will support students for generations to come. To date, it has made a life-changing impact on the lives of seven DeMichele Scholars.
