Gifts to the Weinberg Memorial Library sustain vibrant programs, exhibits, partnerships, and collections — resources that inspire discovery and foster lifelong learning throughout the Scranton community.
Thanks to generous supporters, we were able to accomplish the following over the past year:
• Be named the Pennsylvania Library Association's Library of the Year for outstanding service, dedication to mission, and innovative programming
• Host the Royden B. Davis, S.J., Distinguished Author Award, our signature event celebrating literary excellence
• Produce the online University Art Catalog, preserving and sharing the visual arts with our community
• Expand and enhance research services, connecting students, faculty, and community members with expert guidance and resources
• Lead AI initiatives on campus, helping the University of Scranton community navigate emerging technologies thoughtfully and responsibly
• Renovate and reimagine the Media Resources Center, creating a more welcoming and functional space for students and researchers
• Expand our special and circulating collections, investing in materials to ensure access for students, researchers, and the public
• Fund public programs, including lectures, exhibitions, and events, that foster dialogue and broaden understanding
