Mechanical engineering empowers students to turn bold ideas into real-world innovation, using tools to design and build the technologies of tomorrow. This year, we are raising funds to assist with the purchase of equipment that will enhance our student learning, including:
- Lasers for precision measurement and advanced manufacturing,
- Force dynamometers for accurate force analysis,
- Furnaces for high-temperature materials processing, and
- A water tunnel to complement our wind tunnel in fluid dynamics experiments.
