Gary N. Wodder, beloved Athletics Director, Coach, and Professor Emeritus at The University of Scranton, sadly passed away in December 2022. Those who knew Gary knew that he valued lifelong learning as much as he valued exercise science and sports. His time spent teaching and coaching often transcended those titles and very often turned him into a mentor and friend.
Gary’s family and friends have established The Gary N. Wodder, Ph.D. Scholarship Fund at The University of Scranton to benefit students enrolled in the program he started, Exercise Science (now Kinesiology), which will exist in perpetuity and pay forward Gary’s rich legacy as an individual, coach, and mentor.
