The Center for Service and Social Justice's domestic service trips provide opportunities to serve marginalized populations across the United States. Rooted in faith and justice, the experiences foster individual and group development through justice-related experiences and reflection activities. They also provide avenues for faith development and opportunities for students to explore how they can integrate the experience into their everyday lives. The 7-10 day trips take place over intersession, spring break, and additionally summer each year.
I have a passion for volunteering and helping others, which is why I knew I wanted to go on another service trip. These domestic service trips have been some of the best experiences during my time at Scranton." ~ Erin Hartey '25
