A Desert Experience Retreat takes place in Death Valley, California, where students are introduced to contemplation while camping, hiking and exploring. Themes covered include self-actualization, dying and rising, revelation and Incarnation, perspective, and non-dual thinking.
The program is now in its 10th year and much of the gear, such as tents, tables, sleeping pads and coolers, needs to be replaced. In addition, Campus Ministries would like to assist students who are unable to afford the cost of this program, which is now more than $1,000 per retreatant.
