About

Black Law Student Association

BLSA is an organization with the purpose of utilizing collective resources to articulate and promote the educational, professional, political and social needs of Black law students. We strive to achieve the aspirations of all our members during law school as well as professionally. In doing so, the organization maintains connections with students, faculty, alumni and local Black attorneys to generate awareness of community needs and professional development. We put together a lot of events and provide opportunities for students to progress their education, social and professional development. Some of our main events include the Annual Justice Jenkins & Judge Armstrong Fireside Chat, the PD/DA Panel, Welcome Black, Let’s Talk About It, Black Grad Ceremony, BLSA Alumni Mixer and our Big Law & In-House Panel.
