The Jesuit values that form the bedrock of USF are not just words on paper; they are the guiding principles that drive us to foster a community of critical thinkers, compassionate leaders, and individuals dedicated to making a positive difference in the world. On Day of the Dons, we celebrate not only the generosity of our donors but also the collective impact of each individual gift.

Some ways that your gift can help put our Jesuit Mission into action include:

University Ministry: from global immersions and spiritual retreats to religious diversity programming and resident ministry, University Ministry challenges students to consider how God is present in the world and active in our lives. Help students connect their faith, spirituality, and values with social justice, solidarity with the poor, and care for the earth.

Star Route Farms Academic Program: A self-sustaining organic farm, SRF is comprised of 40 acres of organically farmed land and 60 acres of mixed-woodland habitat, including riparian forest and a year-round stream, Pine Gulch Creek. The farm, land, creek, and associated out-buildings provide USF faculty, staff, and students an incredible opportunity to escape the urban landscape and participate in innovative learning experiences through courses, research, retreats, and workshops.

Change the World From Here Institute includes multiple programs that represent a values-based approach to leadership development at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. These include but are not limited to:

USF has been challenged to get 2,025 donors to make a gift to USF to unlock a $100,000 gift from John and Nora Wu, as part of this year's Day of the Dons. Your gift today supports our Jesuit values and the overall Day of the Dons challenge gifts.
