Support the Black Achievement Success and Engagement Initiative
Help unlock $5,000: Your gift today brings us closer to our 60-donor goal needed to secure a $5,000 contribution from Pat and Gary Vick. Every donor counts before midnight!
The Black Achievement Success and Engagement (BASE) initiative creates a foundation for Black-identified students to thrive at USF through academic programs and support services centered on the experiences of people of African descent. BASE equips students with the knowledge, resources, and community necessary to transform their potential into achievement.
Our Black student community is growing dramatically—first-year applications have increased 131% since 2017, and overall Black undergraduate and graduate enrollment is up 31%. This growth makes your support more crucial than ever.
The Tomasello-Millard Economic Hardship Fund, established in 2020, provides essential financial safety nets for Black-identified students facing economic challenges, covering critical needs like rent, tuition, and transportation.
Your contribution today counts toward both BASE and the overall Day of the Dons challenge. We need 60 donors to release the $5,000 challenge gift from Pat and Gary Vick.
Your support ensures Black students at USF have the resources to achieve their educational dreams. Thank you for being part of this important initiative!
