USD's Manchester Family Child Development Center (MFCDC) develops unique capabilities for all young children, bridging family, school, and community in a warm and inclusive environment. MFCDC is open to all USD-affiliated children and those of the greater San Diego community.
MFCDC continually works to enhance the learning environment for the children entrusted to learn and grow with us. We continually need to upgrade or replace classroom supplies, from crayons and paper to classroom furniture, and replace and maintain well-loved playground equipment, tricycles, and other play items used daily. Our goal is to raise enough financial support to ensure MFCDC has the resources to provide a high-quality learning and developmental environment and experience for children currently in our care and those in the future. Supporting MFCDC's efforts to continually provide a high-quality experience for all children in our care helps us lay the foundation for positive outcomes in our children's future. Contributions support an enriched learning environment, the development of the 'whole child', skill acquisition, language and literacy, social interaction, building confidence, creativity and imagination, and inclusivity.
