The University of San Diego’s Master of Science in Engineering, Sustainability and Health (MESH) degree is designed to bring together students from a wide range of backgrounds that impact the built environment and take a critical approach to sustainability, health and human development to produce the innovative solutions needed for our collective future.
One of the most important elements of the MESH program is bringing students together from different corners of the world. With this fund, we aim to include students from low-income settings who, without this funding, could not benefit from the program. We are excited to support students from a variety of backgrounds as they foster and strengthen local capacities. Because this program is online, travel funds are not required.
Gifts made to MESH help the Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering participate in the Nelson-Andrews Challenge, which makes the School of Engineering eligible for $10,000 in bonus funding. When the Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering is one of the first five (5) graduate degree-awarding academic units to raise $5,000 in support of first-generation graduate school scholarships, these bonus funds will be awarded.
