Education in Theology and Religious Studies comes alive when students connect classroom lessons with real-world spiritual and cultural experiences. Your gift today will directly support immersive learning opportunities, including travel to religious sites and conferences to deepen students’ connection and experience.
With your support, students will explore religious sites such as local places of worship, the Barona Cultural Center and Museum, and the historic San Diego Mission de Alcalá. They will engage with community partners brought to campus through guest speaker stipends and present their research at academic conferences, extending their learning beyond USD.
Because most USD students take at least two courses in Theology and Religious Studies to fulfill core requirements, this funding will enhance many students' education. Your gift this Torero Tuesday will help bring learning to life, connecting students with real-world contexts that make their studies meaningful. Thank you for making these experiences possible.
