The Bernie Bickerstaff Diversity & Inclusion Fund honors a Torero whose career and leadership have made an impact far beyond the basketball court. The fund helps USD Athletics create opportunities that strengthen belonging, leadership, and personal development for our student-athletes. Through education, programming, mentorship, and meaningful experiences, we want Toreros to learn from people and perspectives different from their own while becoming thoughtful leaders in their communities. College athletics brings together student-athletes from different backgrounds and life experiences, creating a unique opportunity to learn from one another.
