Support Law Student Scholarships!
Scholarships are the key to unlocking opportunities and empowering students to achieve their academic and career ambitions, regardless of their financial background.
USD School of Law has always prided itself in helping students graduate without overwhelming loan debt that may hamper their ability to practice in the area of law they feel most passionate about. In fact, 90% of the incoming class of 1L students at USD School of Law qualify for and receive scholarship offers for the 2024-25 academic year.
The need for student scholarship support is more pressing than ever.
The landscape of federal student aid is shifting dramatically. Federal funding cuts and changes to federal loan programs pose a significant threat to financial aid programs, especially for students seeking professional degrees—including JD and LLM, potentially reducing the amount of aid available or causing delays in disbursement. The shift in available federal financial aid funding is particularly acute for first-generation students who rely on grants and loans to attend graduate school. Students may be forced to reconsider their education path due to financial strains caused by impending limits and delays in aid offers.
Your scholarship donations are more critical than ever to ensure students can access and complete their education without accumulating crushing debt.
At USD School of Law, we believe a legal education should be accessible to any student with the talent and drive to be admitted to the law school. The Admissions and Financial Aid team is committed to helping admitted and prospective students explore resources tailored to their individual circumstances by administering comprehensive financial aid packages to assist students with diverse needs and backgrounds. They help students finance an outstanding legal education through a selection of grants, fellowships, scholarships and an array of loan programs.
This Big Give, make a scholarship gift and help deserving USD Law students succeed—turning their potential into meaningful impact in the legal world.
