Last school year (2024-2025) the St. Joseph's Food Pantry and Kitchen were utilized by members of our community on more than 250 occasions. Since our opening in 2022 the cost of fresh items (such as bread, milk and lunch meat) as well as the weekly need for them has increased significantly. We hope to raise over $2,500 to help provide any member of our campus community facing food insecurity with better access to fresh nutrition and personal hygiene essentials. St. Joseph’s Food Pantry is excited to announce the grand opening of the St. Joseph’s Community Closet on Thursday, March 19! Through a partnership with the Assisi Program for Discipleship and Leadership, the pantry is expanding its services to better assist members of our campus community in need by providing gently used personal and professional clothing at no cost.
What better day to open this new resource than the Feast of St. Joseph, the patron of the pantry? The Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration have a special devotion to Saint Joseph, making this moment even more meaningful for our community.
