Equip Students to Discover, Build and Serve

At Northwestern, science is more than lectures and textbooks. It’s students peering through a microscope at their own research data, building a working prototype from the ground up, and caring for patients in places where health care is hard to reach. The School of Science & Engineering prepares students to research, design and carry out real solutions, and to lead with God-honoring conviction in their professions, homes, churches and communities. Every day, students here learn to explore the world God created and use what they discover to serve others.

Your gift puts the tools, experiences and opportunities that shape tomorrow’s engineers, scientists and health care professionals directly into students’ hands. Choose where you’d like to make an impact:

• Engineering: Fund hands-on, industry-style projects, like designing and building an autonomous delivery drone. Gifts provide prototype materials and precision machinery such as a CNC lathe. Help us reach our goal of 100 alumni visionaries!
• Health Science, Biology & Biochemistry: Equip student researchers with advanced lab tools, from a fluorescence microscope to metabolic testing equipment, so they can do real scientific discovery alongside faculty.
• Medical Outreach to Kenya: Help students serve alongside nurses and doctors in rural Kenya, where access to care is severely limited. Thanks to the Stines Family (Jake Stines ‘09), every dollar is matched up to $4,000!
