Purpose of Athletics: Athletics at Northwestern exists to enhance the mission of the university and honor Christ through a lifetime of competitive Christ-like attitudes, sportsmanship, speech, and actions. Daily devotions, prayer, as well as community outreach and missions trips also make up the uniqueness of athletics at our institution.

UNW Tennis exists to leverage the game of tennis to cultivate men and women who achieve their potential on the court as players and off as men and women and as followers of Jesus.

Along with all of the time on court in practice and matches we also build in team Bible Studies, sharing testimonies & ministry/service projects. “It’s about WAY more than tennis here!”
Perhaps the greatest evidence of God’s hand of favor on UNW Tennis is the number of alumni who come back as Assistant or Volunteer Coaches!
