The Coastal Society of UNCW is dedicated to preparing the next generation of coastal leaders by helping students explore coastal careers, build professional connections, and serve as environmental stewards. We are seeking to raise funds to support our mission of promoting education, collaboration, and coastal stewardship through professional development workshops, conference travel aid, guest lectures, and community engagement activities. Funds will also provide supplies for local cleanups and light refreshments for networking events, helping create a welcoming and active community. Run entirely by students, our chapter embodies the spirit of The Coastal Society’s mission—to foster dialogue, partnerships, and education that lead to the wise use and protection of our coastal environments. Your support will help us empower UNCW students to make lasting impacts on our coasts and communities.
