- Three College Observatory: Operated jointly by The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, North Carolina A&T University, and Guilford College, the observatory opened in 1981 and is used for astronomical research, instruction of North Carolina college students, and community stargazing. Free public viewing nights are hosted regularly.
