The School of Health and Human Sciences (HHS) prepares students to work with the diverse populations they will encounter in their work after graduation, to serve and enhance their communities, to improve quality of life, and to advocate for underrepresented groups. The School has a thriving research enterprise and is consistently one of UNCG's top performers in research and grant funding. The School has a collective passion for bettering communities through community-based participatory research and community-engaged scholarship. HHS students have many opportunities to engage in research at every level and learn from faculty mentors who are highly regarded experts in their fields.
HHS constantly strives to meet the needs of our students and the evolving world. Most recently we launched the exciting Human Health Sciences bachelor's degree program, with Allied Health Studies and Health Professions tracks. We've also begun offering the Sport and Exercise Psychology master's degree online, and the master's degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology. The School also created the combined M.S./Dietetic Internship degree in the Department of Nutrition to meet the changing needs of the field.
