Gifts to Global Medical Brigades contribute to...
About the Project
UNCW’s Global Medical Brigades (GMB) chapter is raising funds to support our upcoming trip to an underserved country, where student volunteers will work alongside medical professionals to provide care and health resources to refugees, asylum seekers and impoverished families who face barriers to accessing regular healthcare.
Funds raised through TEALstarter will help cover approved trip expenses and support the purchase of medical and dental supplies, health and hygiene products and other resources for the communities we serve. Students will also gain meaningful experience working with patients, practicing communication and triage and learning from healthcare professionals in a global health setting.
Fundraising Goal: $2,500
Your support will help make this experience more accessible to UNCW students while allowing our team to contribute meaningful healthcare resources to communities in need.
