At UNC Asheville, Student Wellbeing & Critical Areas of Support help ensure that students can stay focused on their education, even when life presents unexpected challenges. These programs remove barriers, strengthen resilience and help Bulldogs remain on track toward graduation.
Gifts in this area sustain essential resources across campus. Support helps power the Food Equity Initiative, which addresses food insecurity through a campus pantry, meal assistance and nutrition access programs. It strengthens the Student Emergency Fund, which provides rapid-response support for unexpected financial hardships such as housing instability, medical expenses or transportation needs that could otherwise disrupt a student’s education.
Philanthropy also expands access to counseling and health services, wellness programming and coordinated support for students navigating basic needs. When students can access groceries, secure safe housing, connect with counseling services or cover an emergency expense, they are able to stay enrolled, attend class and continue making progress toward their degrees.
Your support helps ensure that UNC Asheville remains a place where students are not only challenged academically, but supported holistically.
