We're coming together again in support of one goal: providing our student-athletes with the resources they need to succeed in the classroom and on their respective playing fields. The team with the most fans on April 22 will be named our 2022 Bulldog Challenge Champion!
This is also a special opportunity to celebrate the retirement of Betsy Blose, founder of the Bulldog Challenge, who dedicated 10 years of her career to UNC Asheville as the all-time winningest head coach of women's basketball and another 10 years as Special Assistant to the Director of Athletics. Student-athlete alumni can make a $20 gift to the team of their choice to let Betsy know what an impact she made on our Bulldog Family.
The Bulldog Athletics Fund is a vital resource that allows our Bulldogs to pursue their academic, athletic, and lifelong goals. More than 75% of our student-athletes rely on support from this fund to continue their education at UNC Asheville.
Through their participation in Bulldog Athletics, our student-athletes learn the value of hard work and develop the character and integrity that allow them to succeed on the field and in the classroom.
