Too many NC high school seniors feel like college is unattainable due to financial barriers. That's why UNC Asheville is so proud of Access Asheville, a new financial aid program designed to make an exceptional, transformative education attainable for low- and middle-income North Carolinians.
Access Asheville provides an affordable path to pursue an undergraduate college degree for those who may have previously thought it would be out of reach financially. Access Asheville guarantees full tuition and coverage through grants and scholarships for households in the state that have incomes of $80,000 or less, demonstrating UNC Asheville's longstanding commitment to access and affordability.
This Fall, UNC Asheville will welcome the first recipients of the Access Asheville promise, but we need the combined generosity of our Bulldog family to keep this promise alive.
