CERF

For two decades UNO PIES Coastal Education Program has introduced thousands of students to the coastal environment through field experiences.

Since 2010, these field experiences have been offered at UNO’s Coastal Education and Research Facility (CERF). CERF has allowed us to expand programming and make remarkable strides in the community by fostering the love of our marshlands to our area residents old and young.

By supporting CERF, you will help us provide:

• Coastal wetlands field-based learning experiences for grades 4-12
• Environmental science research opportunities for high school students
• Field experience for college classes
• Field-based professional development for science teachers
• Workshops for a variety of adult audiences interested in coastal issues
