Support SEI Graduate Chapter’s Vision: Help Build a Concrete Replica of the Q Bridge!
The SEI Graduate Chapter at the University of New Haven is a dynamic student organization committed to fostering growth, knowledge, and collaboration among aspiring structural engineers. Our mission is to provide students with opportunities to deepen their understanding of structures through hands-on and innovative projects.
As part of this mission, we are thrilled to announce an exciting project: creating a concrete replica of the iconic Q Bridge. This project will take place in the university’s concrete lab and will include:
• 3D-printed formwork for precise and accurate molding,
• Steel reinforcement wires and cement for enhanced structural integrity, and
• Lighting and painting to transform the model into a realistic and visually stunning masterpiece.
However, we face a critical challenge: budget constraints. To bring this ambitious project to life and cover the costs of materials, resources, and tools, we are seeking your generous support. Your contributions will:
• Enable us to complete the Q Bridge replica, a testament to innovation, teamwork, and creativity.
• Support additional SEI activities aimed at promoting structural engineering knowledge and professional development.
• Strengthen the foundation of our chapter, empowering students to engage in impactful and transformative learning opportunities.
Every donation counts! By supporting this initiative, you are investing in the future of structural engineering and empowering students to achieve their dreams. Let’s build this bridge together! We sincerely appreciate your generosity and belief in our vision. Thank you for your support!
