Nepalese Student Association

Imagine being thousands of miles away from home during the biggest festival of the year. For many Nepalese students at our university, this is the reality. Dashain, our most celebrated holiday, is a time for family, laughter, and cultural traditions. As the second-largest demographic group on campus, we’ve come together to celebrate Dashain here for the past two years with donations from our community. However, this year, we have an opportunity to make it official and more inclusive. We are raising funds to create a space where every Nepalese student can feel at home, and where our wider university community can experience the beauty of our culture. Every dollar raised will go towards food, decorations, and creating a warm, festive environment that mirrors the celebrations we cherish at home. Help us bridge the gap between Nepal and our university, and ensure that even when far away, home doesn’t feel so distant. Any additional funds raised will support other events planned by the Nepalese Student Association, ensuring continued cultural engagement throughout the academic year.
