The WeEmbody (WE) Lab is dedicated to training the next generation of public health leaders through hands-on, student-centered research and mentorship. Each year, the WE Lab engages undergraduate and graduate students in applied research projects focused on nutrition, mental health, and community-based action research.
Since its establishment, WE Lab students have published more than 20 peer-reviewed research papers. Students in the WE Lab also gain meaningful opportunities to present their work at local, regional, and national conferences. These experiences are critical in preparing students for careers in public health and for admission to competitive graduate and professional programs.
Your support will help sustain these high-impact learning experiences by funding student research activities, conference travel, and dissemination efforts. Contributions directly enable students to share their work, build professional networks, and advance their academic and career trajectories.
