The Women in Engineering program at the University of New Haven is dedicated to working with schools and organizations across Connecticut to bring a lifelong love of learning, engineering, and science to young women. By giving women chances to explore new ideas, we can inspire the next generation of engineers to take on the world’s greatest challenges. At the University of New Haven, we want to challenge stereotypes and remove roadblocks that inhibit young women from pursuing engineering careers with education, fun, and community. Your support to our WIE program will directly support student mentors who travel across the state to meet with young women and educate them about the STEM fields. Additionally, your support will allow our WIE program to continue to expand our reach throughout the state and host summer camps at low-cost for young women looking to become more involved in the STEM fields.
