The Love Initiative at the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences is a faculty-mentored program in conjunction with the Center for Analytics and the Financial & Cybercrime Fusion Center. This unique experiential fellowship opportunity will allow students, known at the Love Fellows, to develop and regularly disseminate data, provide strategic analysis, and produce a comprehensive industry trend report envisioned as a trademark publication to aide in the fight against financial crimes.
The Love Initiative will provide select students (up to 15 per semester) with the opportunity to expand their experience and build their resume beyond the classroom and will also serve as a vehicle to develop a prepared and diverse workforce in the fields of financial and cyber investigations. To ensure that the best and most qualified students are selected for this coveted and prestigious fellowship, students will complete an application process that will include personal interviews. Eligible students will include those from the HCLC enrolled in criminal justice, investigations, and other related programs as well as students studying in disciplines throughout the University such as finance, accounting, and business analytics. Special consideration will be given to student-athletes who often possess important characteristics that are crucial for success in this role, including an innate ability to problem solve and think critically, a team-oriented mentality, unsurpassed work ethic, and competitive drive.
