About

The College of Engineering and Physical Sciences (CEPS) empowers creative thinkers, innovative problem solvers and leaders to make a difference. With world-class programs and faculty mentors, students actively engage in rigorous academics and hands on learning and research opportunities to have an impact in their profession, their community and the world. None of this would be possible without the support and generosity of loyal donors, like you.

Generous donors have engineered an area challenge for every department. With so many great options to give back to your favorite department, program, student group, or college initiative, you can have an impact wherever means most to you!

Our flagship fund, The CEPS TECH Fund allows us to adapt to the evolving needs of our students college-wide through collaborative learning, community building, and innovative programs.

Also new this year, the Mathematics Center Gift Fund provides immediate, increased financial support for students seeking tutoring resources for introductory and intermediate level math courses.

Wherever you choose to give back during The (603) Challenge, thank you!

These generous underwriters have pledged more than $150,000 in matching and challenge funds across CEPS during this (603) Challenge!

CEPS Supports STEM Learning For All Ages

"The Dinah Whipple STEAM Academy not only provides great learning experiences that enrich children's lives, they also make them financially accessible to families like mine who couldn't otherwise afford this type of program. In addition to the summer camp, my son has also had the opportunity to attend two amazing field trips, and I've been able to meet other parents and families," says Shayna deRochemont. Help us make our programs available to all curious learners by supporting the last day of the (603) Challenge!

CEPS is not only a place for adult learners, the Dinah Whipple STEAM Academy and Tech Camp offer STEM education to middle and high school aged kids. Today, all new donors who give to areas like Tech Camp and the STEAM Academy will get an equal portion of $75,000 added to their gift!

Welcome To The New CEPS Makerspace!

Kingsbury Hallโ€™s newest facility, the CEPS Makerspace in just its second semester, already has over 600 (603??) projects worked on, and is averaging 80 people through the door everyday, including students from all five colleges, representing 22 majors. All this in just the first 6 months! Why? Because this sate-of-the-art workspace features 12 high-tech machines, from CNC mills to 3-D printers.

The Makerspace fosters innovation and creativity in a shared space accessible to all through informal and formal experiential learning opportunities. The center helps students, staff, and faculty refine their ideas creations and engage in collaborative and entrepreneurial projects. This cutting edge facility welcomes all UNH students (novice to experienced and freshman to graduate students) and provides access to a wide variety of equipment with a focus on the safe use of said equipment. The Makerspace engages students in a creative and collaborative center from the moment they arrive at UNH. We foster the entrepreneurial mindset and are a resource to connect CEPS students with others on campus to turn their ideas into creations.

There is no better time to support the Makerspace than the last day of the (603) Challenge! The Grand Finale Bonus is a pool of $75,000 that will be equally portioned out to all gifts made by donors new to the challenge. Today is your last chance to support areas like the CEPS Makerspace during the 10th anniversary of the (603) Challenge!

Earn Both Matching and Bonus Funds By Giving To The MaC!

The Mathematics Center Gift Fund provides dedicated funding for a long-standing program committed to helping students enrolled in introductory and intermediate math courses. This includes drop-in tutoring and online support services, not only for CEPS but all UNH students. Increasing financial support will ensure the MaC can continue to welcome students free of charge.

While the MaC has been around for decades, it has never played a more central and vital role in propelling UNH studentsโ€™ education forward. More students are looking to the MaC for support than ever before, and you can help them get it! When you give today, if your gift contains the numbers 6, 0, and 3, you will generate an extra $50 for the area you give to. Not only that, but CEPS Dean Cyndee Gruden is matching the first $3,000 donated to the MaC. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to earn both matching and bonus funds by giving to the MaC today!
