The UM-Flint Club Tennis Team is an inclusive campus organization that welcomes players of all experience levels to come together to develop their tennis skills and compete while fostering a supportive and welcoming environment.
Because the UM-Flint Recreation Center does not currently have tennis courts, our team must rent court space at the Henry Ford Health Club for practices, which can be very costly. In addition, we have been fortunate enough to hire a coach this year who helps our players improve and better prepare to compete against other club tennis teams across the Midwest; however, the cost of coaching limits how often we are able to have him at practice.
Funds raised on Giving Blueday will help offset court rental, coaching, and travel expenses, allowing us to continue holding consistent practices, attend tournaments, and potentially host competitions that bring other schools to campus. Your support helps us grow our team, expand competitive opportunities, and represent UM-Flint across the Midwest. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
