The UM‑Flint Men's Hockey Team is fundraising to support the rapid growth and long‑term stability of our student‑run program. After making the jump from ACHA Division 3 to Division 1, our competitive level—and our operational costs—have increased significantly.
Donations on Giving Blue day help cover essential expenses such as:
- Cost of travel
- Ice time
- League Dues
- Cost of equipment, such as much needed new pant shells
- Athletic training
- Reducing the financial burden on our student‑athletes
Every contribution directly strengthens our ability to compete at a higher level, represent UM‑Flint with pride, and continue building a program that develops leaders both on and off the ice.
About our Organization
The Club is established for the expressed purpose of playing competitive hockey. The team was first introduced in 2007. Currently, we play out of Crystal Fieldhouse on Burton, MI. All players are registered with USA Hockey as well as the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA). We are here to play hard and win, but most importantly we are here to have fun and become a family. Each player will be given the opportunity to showcase their talent and earn their time on the ice. Our players have gone on to play in professional leagues such as the Federal Hockey League. The team was National Runner ups in 2013, and we hope to be back into national championship contention. We are a family. We are Michigan Flint Hockey. Go Blue.
