The Formula SAE–Combustion team is made up of passionate student engineers who design, manufacture, and race a Formula One–style vehicle. Our team provides hands on engineering experience while building invaluable industry connections, all culminating in our annual competition each May at Michigan International Speedway.

About our Organization
Formula SAE Combustion is a student organization that is tasked with designing and building a formula-style race car to compete in SAE events against teams from around the world. The student members are responsible for every aspect of the vehicle from the design and manufacturing to the business relations and budget planning. The ultimate goal is to produce excellent students and engineers who in turn will create an excellent race car and continue the tradition of success here at the University of Michigan-Dearborn!
