The UM-Dearborn Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) program offers undergraduate students in all 4 colleges an incredible opportunity to engage in research all summer long, alongside a faculty mentor, receiving a stipend, and culminating in a Research Showcase in the Fall. Through the SURE program, students participate in research experiences that foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills, helping them excel in their fields of study or passion areas, and preparing them for future career success through professional development opportunities.

While SURE provides invaluable academic and professional growth for our students, funding is crucial to maintain and expand the program. Contributions to SURE directly impact students by providing:
