Six years running and ready to empower more!
The UMass Lowell community has rallied around our students for the past six Days of Giving. From 12pm noon on April 11, 2023 through noon April 13th our 6th Annual Days of Giving campaign will commence!
We are calling on our students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends to make this year the largest display of UML pride. Our focus is clear - empowering UML students to succeed on the path to graduation.
Support an area of campus that means the most to you (college, academic program, student club) or one of our featured impact areas:
- Career-Connected Experiences: Help students prepare for successful careers by supporting the Chancellor Julie Chen Fund for Student Success.
- Scholarships: Assist with student financial challenges.
- Food and Housing Insecurity: Help meet basic needs.
- Student Mental Health & Wellness: Provide resources and support to create a culture of well-being for our students.
- Student-Athletes: Sustain success on and off the field.
Our Chancellor Julie Chen and her partner, Susu Wong, have generously offered $100,000 in challenge funds to inspire the university community to come together!
If we reach our donor goal of 2,400 donors, UMass Lowell will receive $60,000. The remaining $40,000 will be awarded to the top 10 areas of campus that secure the most donors with each being awarded $4,000!
The results are in from our sixth annual Days of Giving, and we could not be more thankful for the generosity of the UMass Lowell community. With 3,375 donors giving $853,777, we set new records that will help us accomplish our ultimate goal – empowering student success.
This outpouring of support unlocked an amazing $100,000 challenge gift from Chancellor Chen and her partner Susu Wong. UMass Lowell will receive $60,000 for key student priorities, and the top 10 areas of campus that secured the most individual donors, listed below, will each be awarded $4,000.
