Showing the Character of Your Class

At UMass Lowell, it has been a long-standing tradition for our graduates to think bigger than themselves and to help pay it forward for current students who may need help next year. You have a chance to join your 2025 classmates in leaving a legacy by making a donation to support the UML Food Pantry, Student Emergency Needs Fund, or another area on campus that is meaningful to you.

Receive a White Tassel for Commencement

When you make a contribution of $5 or more to support either of these areas or another passion of yours on campus, you will receive a white tassel for your cap at Commencement that you can wear with pride.

White tassels will be available for pick up on your Commencement Day at the Tsongas Center before you head in. If you have any questions, please email lindsey_mccaughey@uml.edu for more information.

Make a Recurring Gift and Receive a UMass Lowell Knit Beanie

Donors who set up a recurring gift for at least one year will receive a UMass Lowell Knit Beanie in addition to their tassel. Set up your recurring gift today and we will contact you with instructions for picking up your hat.
