The UMass Lowell Field Hockey program has always helped its players to grow as athletes, students and people by providing the tools and experiences they need to succeed. The capstone of the student-athlete experience is an international trip. Many of you have fond memories of California or even Bermuda. Its now time to pay it forward and help the current team make some memories.
An international trip is not easy. The total cost is $65,000, but the team is almost there. They need your help to raise the last $15,000 and get them on their way to Spain.
A generous donor has issued a challenge to River Hawk alumni and friends, offering $5,000 to finish the campaign. In order to unlock their challenge funds, Coach Hlebichuk and the River Hawks are looking for 125 donors, in honor of the university’s 125th anniversary, willing to pledge $100. However, a donation of any amount would help get the team closer to achieving its goal.
