Haitian American Student Association

The Haitian American Student Association creates events and programs that celebrate Haitian culture while bringing together students from all backgrounds at UMass Dartmouth. Throughout the year, we will/have hosted cultural events, social gatherings, community-building activities, and larger programs.

Our organization gives Haitian students a space to celebrate and share their culture while also giving the broader UMassD community opportunities to learn more about Haitian history, traditions, music, food, and experiences. We also work to support multicultural students as a whole by creating welcoming events where students can connect, build relationships, and feel a stronger sense of community on campus.
